NYCBS manages a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center, which includes extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, and a Research department.
As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will manage health problems and coordinate healthcare for Oncology/Hematology patients in accordance with State and Federal regulations and nursing standards of care. Your responsibilities will include the assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of care plans, implementation of treatment, and evaluation of patient status. You will also assist with perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management in collaboration with other healthcare team members.

In this role, you will:
- Manage Oncology/Hematology patient care in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team on perioperative and postoperative management.
- Provide high-quality patient care from diagnosis through treatment.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure/Physician Assistant License.
- At least one year of experience in Oncology/Hematology is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to all Nassau County offices.
Salary: Up to $180,000/year based on experience.
