We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to lead our team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs). This role will focus on enhancing patient care, promoting professional development, and ensuring operational efficiency within the APP team.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to lead our team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs). This role will focus on enhancing patient care, promoting professional development, and ensuring operational efficiency within the APP team.
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for the APP team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care by APPs.
- Mentor and support NPs and PAs in their clinical practice and professional development, including performance evaluations and training programs.
- Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of APPs, utilizing metrics to drive continuous improvement in patient care and service delivery.
- Lead efforts in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining a diverse team of qualified APPs.
- Oversee the departmental budget and resource allocation, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
- Develop and facilitate ongoing educational opportunities for APPs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
We require:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies; Doctorate preferred.
- Current NP license or PA certification and active state licensure.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices related to advanced practice providers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Commitment to quality improvement and patient-centered care.
