In This Role, You Will:
Assist with Dispensing: Prepare and label medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order medications and supplies, and ensure stock adequacy.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborative Care: Work alongside healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
Operational Improvement: Evaluate pharmacy performance and implement process improvements as needed.
Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate dispensing, inventory, and patient records.
Facility Upkeep: Ensure the pharmacy remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Provider Relations: Engage with physicians and healthcare providers to promote pharmacy services and build referral networks.
Order Processing: Process prescription orders and coordinate pick-up or delivery based on insurance guidelines.
Patient Support: Collaborate with the financial counseling team to assist patients who face financial challenges.
Authorization Coordination: Work with the authorization team to obtain timely prior authorizations and ensure reimbursement.
Team Culture: Foster strong, positive relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
What We Require:
Minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy experience
Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification
Strong understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and compliance standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with QS1 Pharmacy Software preferred, but not required
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail with a commitment to accurate recordkeeping
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: Up to $32/hour, based on experience and education
