Salary: Starting at $23 per hour based on experience

In this role, you will:
- Manage patient intakes, ensuring accurate information recording.
- Collect and process lab specimens, including venipuncture and diagnostic tests.
- Record patients' vital signs.
- Prepare patients for examinations.
- Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
- Assist providers and other support staff in the data entry process.
- Assist physicians during visits with examinations and all office procedures
- Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.
- A Medical Assistant Certificate
- High School Diploma
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
- Proficiency with an EMR system (Preferred)
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, standing, bending and reaching
- Knowledge of standard precautions and the ability to utilize appropriate
- PPE when handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needs
